Trofie with pesto


The typical course of the Genovese kitchen: the Trofie al pesto. Similar to wood shavings (but definitely more tasty) this fresh pasta is one of the pride of the "Superb"(Genova). It is seasoned with Pesto sauce made with basil, pine nuts, pecorino cheese, garlic, oil and salt.
